Coleman: Wales can get even better in previous 16

Euro 2016

Chris Coleman insists there may be more to result from his Wales players once they defeat Russia 3-0 to top Group B and reach the

Euro 2016 knockout levels.

Aaron Ramsey, Neil Gareth and Taylor Bale all have scored as Wales dominated their competitors in Toulouse, while England – who

possessed beaten Coleman’s men 2-1 on Thursday – failed to find a way past Slovakia in Saint-Etienne.

But Coleman insists the way in which of the triumph was even more satisfying than the result, as his area prepare for a last-16

clash in Paris on Sunday, against a third-placed team from Group A, D or c.

“The three factors are massive for us, but the performance was even sweeter than the items,” he informed ITV.

“I thought the players were brave. And I don’t indicate brave in terms of minus the ball, After all in possession of the ball.

“They do everything that they are with the capacity of doing in ownership. We didn’t do that against Great britain. We were brilliant

without the ball, we didn’t play once we showed tonight.

“I’m absolutely made up for the players.”

Following a superb win Coleman has guaranteed his side’s fans that they are capable of better still.

“I’ve said before there’s more to result from this group,” he extended. “Which event, whenever it ends for us, it’s

not the finish of it.

“This group of players are on the way to something else, on the true way to more success.

“This is just an integral part of the journey they’re on and me and my personnel are just glad we’re on it with them.”

Asked what lengths Wales could use France, Coleman added: “We have to see who we get next. But like we’ve said from the

start, we play without fear.

“We value everybody, but no fear. Whenever we play like that, why should any fear is got by us?”
